The Instructor I, II, or III position is under the administrative supervision of the Head of the Department of Aerospace Engineering (ASE). This is a full-time, non-tenure-track, 9-month faculty position. An instructor in ASE is an engineer and a scholar with a strong interest in teaching, supervising undergraduate students working in the ASE labs, and providing service to ASE. Responsibilities during the fall and spring semesters include service and teaching and coordinating the delivery of the undergraduate engineering mechanics and aerospace courses (primarily laboratory courses). Teaching and service duties may also be available for extra compensation during summer school.
