The College of Veterinary Medicine has an Immediate opening for a clinical track faculty position In Small Animal Internal Medicine.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching responsibilities involve didactic teaching and clinical training of professional students, technology students, and interns. Service responsibilities involve clinical case management, rotating emergency duty, and consultation with private practitioners. Clinical duties in the Small Animal Internal Medicine service will be shared with other faculty members.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent). Ability to obtain Iicensure with the Mississippi Board of Veterinary Medicine is expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
Enrolled in current American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine residency
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent telephone and email communication skills, especially related to client service.
Must be capable of working in a team environment comprised of doctors, staff, and students to provide veterinary care of patients and aid in the instruction of veterinary students and veterinary technology students.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Job frequently requires walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, handling objects with hands. Job requires standing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
