About the Position This position supports the Woodring College of Education operations in the area of teacher education internships and certification. The position is responsible for operational and administrative support to the Office of Field Experience and Teacher Education Admissions and Certification. The position must develop a deep understanding of highly detailed and nuanced information, policies, laws and processes relating to internships for all Woodring teacher certification programs. The position must also develop a deep understanding of state regulations pertaining to certification and accreditation. The position reports the Director of Office of Field Experience but will also receive direction from the Director of Teacher Education Admissions and Certification.
Required Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Two years of clerical experience
  • Ability to accurately enter data into information systems and run basic data queries
  • Experience working with a variety of software, including Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize work tasks with attention to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide specific and accurate information
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to solve problems and collaborate as a team member
  • Proven ability to work in diverse and inclusive work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Higher Education
  • Experience working in P-12 Education

Salary $3,802 - $5,086/year depending on qualifications and experience.
