The College of Business and Economics needs a culturally competent, highly organized, tech-savvy, self-motivated person who works well in a fast-paced environment to help us open and manage our nascent Student Success Center (SSC). We envision the SSC will be a welcoming, informative "one-stop-shop" for students seeking information about CBE degree offerings, CBE and Western resources, events at the SSC, opportunities such as program offerings or clubs in the college. The CBE Student Success Center Program Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the CBE Student Success Center. This is a highly visible and interactive position that will both provide information to students about CBE and Western programs and resources and create events at the SSC. The CBE Student Success Center Program Coordinator will assist students to affirm identity and build a sense of community within the CBE. They will work under the general direction of the CBE Associate Dean and work closely with the CBE Equity, Inclusion and Diversity (EID) Committee within the college, ensuring that all our students feel a sense of belonging and know where to go to find what they need.
