  • Clerk Grade 5/6 - salary relative to experience ($97,027 - $107,059 plus super)

 

The Energy Consumers and Competition Policy Branch is looking to appoint an Assistant Policy and Project Officer on a temporary basis. As part of the Gas Decarbonisation Policy and Strategic Engagement team, you will be involved in delivering a range of projects and functions aimed at engaging consumers and developing energy consumer policy.

This may include:

  • Help engage energy and consumer stakeholders on major issues affecting households and small businesses
  • Provide secretariat support and coordinate two major quarterly external stakeholder forums
  • Undertake research and analysis to support policy work on electrification

About You

This is a great temporary opportunity for someone with stakeholder engagement skills, or who wants to learn more about stakeholder engagement. You will be enthusiastic and motivated and be provided with opportunities to develop policy skills and contribute to a significant policy project that will change the way households and businesses transition their gas use over the next few decades.
