Customer Analytics & Data Science Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business teams to identify business insight from data, covering the entire customer engagement journey, including acquisition, on-boarding, usage growth and retention/anti-attrition for the entire spectrum of personal banking products/services
  • Proactively engage business teams to understand their business problems
  • Formulate an innovative analytic framework to effectively study the data with customer centric perspective
  • Explore the data, identify the business insight and consolidate the findings into an easy to understand structure
  • Present the findings to senior management and business
  • Develop and manage different portfolio management reports to effectively monitor the business

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with major in quantitative, numerical science, computer science or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in financial services industry with proven track record and exposure in customer analysis, database marketing, report tracking and automation
  • Proven competence in data processing of huge volume of data by SAS and use of different office tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • A mature self-starter with strong drive, solid analytic mind, remarkable problem-solving skills and good soft skills, including interpersonal, negotiation and project management
  • Open-minded and receptive to different new ideas
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with good command of English and Chinese in both spoken and written.  Fluent in Putonghua is an advantage
