Job Summary:

The Director, Softball Operations assists with management of the service and support functions for all softball daily operations.

Employment in this position is contingent upon compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA and Conference affiliation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the head softball coach.
  • Serve as staff liaison to compliance office to keep program in compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate practice officials.
  • Organize community relations programs for the softball program. 
  • Track, collect, and interpret prospect high school transcripts and SAT/ACT test scores.
  • Assist in transition of incoming student-athletes.
  • Assist with all academic matters related to current softball student-athletes.
  • Provide assistance with recruiting visits.
  • Assist with team travel.
  • Provide assistance with management of team bench area during games.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree,
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as an athlete, coach, support staff, or athletic administrator
