General Summary of Position:

This being a promotional opportunity, only current UML Employees within the same Bargaining unit are eligible to apply for this position.

The Sr. Coordinator of Admissions Operations reports to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Operations and is responsible for traditional admissions processing responsibilities that will enhance efforts of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Primary responsibilities include processing prospective student information, inquiry cards, applications, transcripts, test scores, and other materials related to the admissions process to ensure integrity of all student data provided.  Staff member will be responsible for assisting in the processing of over 15,000 applications received annually. Sr. Coordinators will manage specific aspects of operations that will be assigned according to previous experience and office needs.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of experience in an education setting
  • Working knowledge of Slate, Document Imaging, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience with entering travel and evaluating applications using Slate
  • Understands university and state residency policies

Additional Considerations:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to establish a positive rapport with students, faculty, staff, guidance counselors and parents
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as needed
