General Summary of Position:

The Department of Chemistry at University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach a range of classes including Organic Chemistry I, Chemistry I and II, Forensics Science for the Non-Scientist.  The appointment is scheduled to begin in September 2025 or January 2026.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have earned a Ph.D degree in chemistry or closely related discipline

Additional Considerations:

  • College Level Teaching Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations.

This is a part-time, non-benefited, Union of Adjunct Faculty, Local 1596, UAW position.
