The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking applications for the position of Adjunct Professor. The successful candidate is expected to begin work in Fall 2025 to develop and teach the following course:

CIVE.5620 Physical and Chemical Hydrology and Geology

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Applicants must have earned an MS degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or closely related disciplines to be considered. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is also desired.

Additional Considerations: (IF APPLICABLE)

  • College-level teaching experience or work experienced in related fields
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations

This is a part-time, non-benefited, Union of Adjunct Faculty, Local 1596, UAW position.
