Overview:
The Lead Tutor will assist the Tutor Coordinator in determining gaps in tutoring, scheduling and oversight of other Peer Tutors while on shift.
Responsibilities:
Assist with determining what classes would be beneficial to be covered in the Tutoring Center based on requests made by Tutees. Assist with scheduling and training of Peer Tutors. Provide oversight of Peer Tutors and field questions, if possible, when Tutor Coordinator is not available. Assist Tutor Coordinator with paperwork and maintenance of all Peer Tutor related files. Oversee the tutoring notes spreadsheet. Manage call-off spreadsheet. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have been a Tutor for at least 1 full semester. Must possess critical thinking skills. Must exhibit and demonstrate responsible and organized behaviors. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Academic Years Preferred: Junior Year or Greater
Wage: $15.00
Wage Frequency: Hourly
