Overview:
Responsible for home game management operational functions including general inspection of facility preparedness, operation of equipment, pregame assistance to visiting officials and teams and postgame relations with aforementioned groups.
Responsibilities:
• Attend home games in various sports beginning approximately two to three hours prior to scheduled start times • Assist in deployment of student gameday operations staff (ie. ticket scanners/sellers/will call, etc) • Be prepared to greet visiting team at main gate approximately two hours prior to scheduled game time. Escort to locker room and give door code or key to team representative; provide direction to filming deck for team video person; direct visiting radio to press row location • Accept delivery of media food, tip driver and take food to media room one hour before game time; set media room with plates, napkins and utensils (football and basketball only) • Pre- and postgame relations with teams and officials • Other assignments designated by Chief Operating Officer
Minimum Qualifications:
• Preferred, but not limited to, Sport Management Majors
