Overview:
RMU Athletics is seeking a creative and qualified multimedia intern who is eager to assist in expanding coverage of RMU Athletics programs through live audio and video broadcast and post video production. Intern will work closely with marketing, media and video staff through hands-on projects and assignments.
Responsibilities:
Assist game-day video production team with the operation of technical equipment to produce and broadcast RMU athletics events. ● Collaborate with the Athletics Communications and Marketing teams in the creation of fan experience timing sheets and broadcast rundowns. ● Assist with post-production video editing projects and the creation of original content for social channels, video boards, coaches shows and broadcasts. ● Assist in developing special presentations, animating and editing short videos, and additional special projects as needed. ● Other duties as assigned by marketing and communication staff
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred, but not limited to, Media Arts majors ● Applicants should have a background in video editing and production and should have experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects, or Apple Final Cut and Motion. ● Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites – Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator ● Ability to work on a fast-paced timeline and meet artwork deadlines ● Ability to work creatively and collaborate with various input from marketing and communications staff
