Overview:
The Center for Sales Excellence and the RMU Call Center at Robert Morris University is seeking dedicated and motivated student interns to support outreach activities and university-wide initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful outreach efforts, develop professional skills, and contribute to the well-being and success of the university community. Interns will enhance their professional skills and play a vital role in promoting student well-being and fostering strong relationships with university sponsors and partners.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: Student Outreach: Conduct calls to current students, informing them about university initiatives, events, and resources. Sponsor and Partner Engagement: Assist in outbound communications with university sponsors and industry partners. Potential Student Engagement: Assist in outbound communications with potential RMU students. Event Support: Provide support for organizing and executing activities and university-wide events. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all communications and report on outcomes. Collaboration: Work closely with other interns and staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the call center and related activities.Professional Development: Participate in regular meetings with administration and faculty to review progress, receive feedback, and enhance professional skills. Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements: Currently enrolled as a student at Robert Morris University; Sales Certificate students preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to critically think, be creative, and solve problems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva. Familiarity with social media platforms and ability to engage with audiences through social media; specifically Instagram and LinkedIn. Previous experience in customer service or a call center is a plus, but not required. Commitment to working 10 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
