Position Department: Academic Media Center
Overview:
The Academic Media Center (AMC) is looking for an extremely motivated student worker to join the Media Equipment Room team and address real-time logistics management challenges in service of the RMU campus community. The AMC is committed to providing inclusive access to media tools and experiences to all students, faculty and staff. Student equipment room equipment manager(s) support this vision through effective inventory management, check-in and check-out, and use analytics.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities ● Assist in providing video and audio gear for classes and programs in the Academic Media Center. ● Assist in providing video and audio for RMU programs, student organizations as well as individual students, Staff and Faculty ● Assist in inventory organization and use analytics ● Assist checking out and prepping camera packages and other rental equipment. ● Properly check in equipment that has returned in a detailed, thorough, and timely manner. ● Highlight and make note of missing or damaged equipment from orders. ● Make deliveries and pickups as needed. ● Provide clients with great customer service. ● Help maintain a clean and organized equipment facility. ● Adhere to all appropriate institutional polices (including IT workflows) and other relevant internal department policies ● Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet program needs. One hour a month will be reserved for required staff meetings. Training programs and special projects will be assigned as necessary. Student colleagues will be responsible for covering the hours they have agreed to work.

Minimum Qualifications: ● All majors are welcome to apply, logistics certificate students preferred. ● Excellent organizational and time management skills. ● Ability to communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of people. ● Ability to problem solve and work within deadline
