Head Coach, Women's D2 Club Ice Hockey Campus Recreation Island Sports Center
The Head Coach, Women’s D2 Club Ice Hockey is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis. The University is a proud member of the ACHA with successful hockey programs at the Men’s D1 and D3 levels. The team practices 2-3 times per week and plays games most weekends during the season. There are 3-5 travel weekends during the season which include Fridays.
Student Financial Services Administrator, Part-time Student Financial Services Moon Campus
This position’s primary functions will include administration of the University’s corporate discount program, all 3rd party invoicing. Oversee email account for receipt of 3rd party authorizations and corporate discount forms. Answering questions, both in person and as a part of the phone queue, related to the student’s account. This is a part-time position, not benefit eligible and limited to no more than 950 hours annually and no more than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.
Head Coach, Men’s Club Soccer Campus Recreation Moon Campus
This role includes collaboration with Campus Recreation administrators to plan home events, away contests, and ensure compliance with RMU Club Sports policies. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in coaching or playing at the high school or collegiate level, as well as a strong understanding of player development, team management, and athlete recruitment. Familiarity with the college athletic recruitment process, including player evaluation and outreach, is essential. This position requires availability for all scheduled practices and competitions, including nights and weekends, and may involve occasional travel to off-campus games. Strong organizational and communication skills, a commitment to student-athlete welfare and academic success, and adherence to University regulations are critical.
Literacy Tutor, Structured Literacy Education Moon Campus
The Structured Literacy Tutor will work directly with children in grades K-12 that are referred to the Center for reading and/or writing tutoring. The Tutor will conduct screenings on all incoming students to determine instructional needs, plan developmentally appropriate instruction based on data, conduct progress monitoring, communicate with parents, and administer all post assessments with clients. The Tutor is responsible for all parent communication and preparation of materials associated with tutoring sessions. The Tutor will keep accurate and timely time sheets and attendance records. Frequent meetings with the Coordinator of the Center will be essential to ensure all students are being serviced properly. This position is partially funded by non-university funds. Position continuation is contingent upon grant renewal or procurement of additional funding sources. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Group Fitness Instructor Campus Recreation Moon Campus
Provide safe, appropriate group exercise class instruction for participants of all ages and fitness levels, including students, faculty, and staff by adhering to teaching methods and modalities accepted as safe and appropriate by Campus Recreation and industry professionals/governing bodies that Campus Recreation promotes.
