Robert Morris University Campus Recreation is seeking a creative and motivated individual to lead game-day video production and manage digital content for the Club Sports department. Reporting to the Campus Recreation leadership team, this position plays a key role in elevating the club sports brand by overseeing live streaming operations, creating engaging media, and collaborating with various departments to deliver high-quality content across multiple digital platforms. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead game-day video production and live streaming of club sports competitions, podcasts, and other related events.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of students and part-time staff for event coverage.
  • Oversee inventory and maintenance of all streaming and production equipment.
  • Work in partnership with RMU Athletics and the Academic Media Center to develop professional-grade video and audio content.
  • Maintain and regularly update the Campus Recreation YouTube channel and other related digital platforms.
  • Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance club sports' visibility and branding.
  • Collaborate with coaches and Club Sports staff to assist with comprehensive recruiting efforts through digital media and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate game-day staffing for selected home games, including sending out email reminders and tracking staff availability.
  • Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned by the Office of Campus Recreation, including but not limited to admissions events, club sports competitions, and broader campus recreation initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree—especially in Sport Management, Media Production, Sport Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred. A combination of education and equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in video production, livestreaming, and editing software such as Streamlabs, Adobe Photoshop, and YouTube Studio. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar platforms) is strongly desired.
  • Experience or demonstrated familiarity with campus recreation, intercollegiate athletics, or club sports environments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be proactive and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends following the club sports schedule.
