| As a member of the Center for Student Success team, this student-centered position supports undergraduate recruitment and retention across programs in the assigned areas. Primary responsibilities include academic advising, participating in recruitment initiatives and activities, serving as a point of contact for undergraduate students within specific departments and programs, and providing oversight for our First-Year Experience Program. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Student Success and includes collaboration with Academic Department Heads and/or other program personnel. This position is a full-time, in-person position during the academic year and may include occasional evening and weekend hours obligations. Flexibility for a hybrid work schedule during other times of the year may be available. |

as the General Manager of the UPMC Events Center. This pivotal role marks the
transition of the venue to an in-house management model, fully integrating the facility
into the University’s infrastructure.
Reporting directly to the Vice President and Director of Athletics, the General Manager
will be responsible for the overall success, profitability, and operational excellence of the
UPMC Events Center. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between the
arena’s operations and the University’s central administration, ensuring that the venue
serves as a premier destination for RMU Athletics, student life, and the Greater
Pittsburgh region. |

| The Structured Literacy Tutor will work directly with children in grades K-12 that are referred to the Center for reading and/or writing tutoring. The Tutor will conduct screenings on all incoming students to determine instructional needs, plan developmentally appropriate instruction based on data, conduct progress monitoring, communicate with parents, and administer all post assessments with clients. The Tutor is responsible for all parent communication and preparation of materials associated with tutoring sessions. The Tutor will keep accurate and timely time sheets and attendance records. Frequent meetings with the Coordinator of the Center will be essential to ensure all students are being serviced properly.
This position is partially funded by non-university funds. Position continuation is contingent upon grant renewal or procurement of additional funding sources. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis. |
