Lehigh University seeks a dedicated Senior Accounting Coordinator to perform essential accounting duties in support of our Controller's Office, contributing to the financial foundation that enables world-class education and groundbreaking research.

Position Number: S77810

This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $39,080 - $46,910 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process complex accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Support budget monitoring and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with departments across campus on financial matters
• Assist with audit preparations and special projects

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
One to three years of related work experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
