Responsibilities: |
- Maintain frequent e-mail and Zoom correspondence with team
- Ensure all content adheres to branding guidelines as set forth by the University
- Collaborate to develop content marketing and social media calendar to support promotional needs of the College; meet all submission deadlines as assigned.
- Work on branding and marketing initiatives which contribute to increases in the visibility of the College of Arts & Sciences, CAS Advising Commons, and promote engagement within our community
- Maintain College of Arts and Sciences’ LinkedIn and help to develop and establish other social media sites (Instagram, Threads)
- Learn how to analyze back-end data and analytics to monitor engagement and use it to inform and further develop social media strategy
- Create new ideas for social media and website content
- Conduct phone and email interviews. Visit College-sponsored events on campus to take pictures to share on social media
- Write and edit stories highlighting current and former CAS students, faculty, and staff

Qualifications: |
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Be able to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative with precision and attention to detail
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Tech savvy and willing to learn new technology
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to take high-quality, well-framed photographs based on target platform format
- Experience with or willingness to learn basic graphic design platforms (Adobe Suite, Canva)
