Job Title: Research Assistant for the Office of Institutional Research & Strategy
Department: Office of the President
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study and Non Federal Work-Study
Responsibilities:
  • Assists in implementing research projects, basic data analysis, and generating reports
  • Assists in creating the yearly Fact Book & Fact Sheet
  • Prepares drafts of PowerPoint presentations
  • Data gathering and compilation required for various external surveys
  • Assists with cross-checking surveys and reports before submission
  • Performing administrative tasks such as making photocopies, taking meeting minutes, and other administrative tasks
  • Will be responsible for creating documentation as and when required
  • Maintains the confidentiality of institutional data, reports, and other information. Confidentiality disclosure agreement required.
Qualifications:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, and database software applications
  • Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates time management skills such as organizing workload and priority setting
Hours of Position:
  • 8 hrs. per week
