Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and managing programs in community engagement, human rights, environmental stewardship and food security.

  • Promoting the institute on campus using web and social media presences

  • Assisting with the creation of promotional materials for events, open houses and other audiences

  • Representing the Institute at on-campus events such as admissions open houses.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take responsibility for projects.
  • Good inter-personal communication skills
  • Strong writing and organizational skills.
  • Leadership on campus
  • Experience with nonprofit/community-related organization(s) outside Quinnipiac, or interest in human rights and activism are advantages. 
Hours of Position:
  • 8-10 hrs./week (avg.) during academic term.

  • Position will be primarily located on campus, in the Albert Schweitzer Institute facility.  Some work in other locations on/off campus will be required.  Interns also able to work remotely for some hours.
