Responsibilities:	Strong interest in environmental sustainability Collegial attitude and can-do, growth-oriented mindset Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to research and analyze complex systems Familiarity with or willingness to learn principles of qualitative data collection and organization Familiarity with or willingness to learn the principles of grant writing Survey design skills a plus
Qualifications:	Good interpersonal skills Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Hours of Position:	10-15 hours per week

Student Employment: Sustainability Intern - AY 24/25	Mount Carmel - Hamden, CT
Quinnipiac University is seeking to hire two sustainability interns for the 24-25 academic year. Incumbents will work under the supervision of the Quinnipiac Sustainability Implementation Committee (QSIC) and Sustainability Fellow to implement ongoing actions for Quinnipiac University’s sustainability plan. Responsibilities may include: gathering data on current practices, uses, and materials streams related to campus sustainability; researching sustainability efforts at other universities; updating information related to the sustainability certification (STARS) at Quinnipiac; working with the Director of the Center for Research and Scholarship to pursue external grants; production of content for the QU sustainability website and various campus communication instruments. Most work can be performed remotely with minimal in-person responsibilities. Interns are expected to attend remote weekly meetings.
