The Outpatient Administrative Specialist will assist the Insurance Specialist in copay research, mailing patient letters and visiting patient in room to discuss copay. Will also assist the Admissions Coordinator with answering a large volume of phone calls regarding patient assigned inhouse beds, patient information calls and where the patient's certificate is in the death process. Acts as a liaison at department meetings and provides training to new employees in various roles with Patient Access. Audits registration quality of Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1 staff and provides education to fix errors.
