Instrument Senior Specialist Syracuse
The Instrument Senior Specialist will be responsible to the CMS Oversight Committee for reporting on campus-wide ultrasound systems owned by the Hospital. Will be responsible for keeping an inventory list and testing all systems for compliance standards. Will also assist in reviewing ultrasound training and orientation records to ensure they meet CMS guidelines. For those that do not meet the guidelines, incumbent will perform a Gap Analysis and present an assessment to the CMS Oversight Committee for a corrective action plan.

Assistant Hyperbaric Safety Officer Syracuse
The Assistant Hyperbaric Safety Officer provides professional hyperbaric care to patients/families and the community through planning and implementing patient care in conjunction with licensed staff. Works together with unit leadership and Safety Officers to assess, implement, maintain, and document the hyperbaric safety program to ensure continued successful accreditation cycles.
Workplace Violence Coordinator Syracuse
The Workplace Violence Coordinator's main responsibilities include leading and supporting the Workplace Violence Committee by program administration associated with planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating Workplace Violence strategies. Determines the level of potential risk through risk assessment and regular rounding and availability to patient care areas to provide training. Incident follow-up and assessment services, assisting in analysis of workplace violence incidents and providing recommendations and additional training. Coordinates enhancements in interdisciplinary communication regarding workplace violence prevention. Use of the Safety Alert Event Reporting System, and collaboration with University Police and Human Resources to collect and compile data on employee injuries related to workplace violence. Tracks advances in Workplace Violence programs and makes recommendations for Upstate University Hospital, collaborating with Upstate Medical University, and Ambulatory sites to contribute to a coordinated Workplace Violence program Upstate-wide.
