The Director of Philanthropy reports directly to the Senior Director of Philanthropy is responsible for planning and implementing individual, multi-year, major gift fund-raising efforts for the University. The fundamental responsibility of this position is major gift fundraising including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies in support of major/capital gifts ($25,000 or more) and secondly in support of annual leadership gifts of $1,500 or more. The successful candidate will be a hands-on major gift officer with demonstrated fund-raising experience and capable of handling a portfolio of 150 donors and prospects. While providing front-line fund-raising leadership Director of Philanthropy is expected to work in close collaboration with other Development Officers and with central advancement staff in Prospect Research, Scholarships, Planned Giving, and the Annual Fund. This position is expected to secure $1 million in annual gift revenue for the University through a combination of cash, pledge commitments, gift-in-kind, and planned gifts.

Administrative Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-EI) Chico Open until filled
Working under the general supervision of the Finance & Administration Manager, the Administrative Analyst/Specialist provides a wide range of administrative responsibilities in support of Professional & Continuing Education's financial and administrative operations. Information Security Analyst (Information Technology Consultant-Career) Chico Open until filled
Under general direction of the Information Security Officer, the Information Security Analyst researches, develops, implements, and maintains security systems to ensure protection of University systems and the confidential information in the custody of the University. The incumbent will participate in risk assessments and technical audits to identify potential risks and help design protections against identified risks. The Information Security Analyst works collaboratively with technical and non-technical members of the University community to review business processes, implement security policies, document procedures, and design best practices related for the protection of sensitive information assets. Senior Assistant Tenure-Track Librarian for the College of Engineering and Library Makerspace Chico Open until filled
The Meriam Library at California State University (CSU), Chico is seeking a Librarian for the College of Engineering and Library Makerspace (Senior Assistant Librarian Rank). California State University, Chico is a comprehensive and residential public university, holding Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) designation. Chico State operates as part of the 23-campus CSU system, which educates the most ethnically, economically, and academically diverse student body in the nation. The University enrolls over 14,000 students, with over half identifying as first-generation college students. The Engineering and Library Makerspace Librarian will focus on the research needs of the diverse College of Engineering, encompassing Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, and Mechatronic Engineering as well as Robotics, Computer Science, Construction Management, Concrete Management, and Computer Information Systems. The College has three graduate programs and one of four Concrete Industry Management programs in the country. This position will also be an integral part of the Meriam Library Makerspace, housed in the Innovation Lab in the library, working to engage and support faculty and students’ use of the tools.
Facilities Control Specialist Chico Open until filled
Working independently, under general supervision, Facilities Control Specialists are primarily responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, adjustment and repair of electric, electronic, pneumatic and digitally controlled building automation systems which manage the most complex HVAC and refrigeration systems. This position proficiently uses building automation systems to diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Incumbent will estimate cost, time and materials for projects and participate in the maintenance and operations of applicable heating and air conditioning systems and equipment either remotely or on-site. Maintain and service tools and equipment used in the performance of duties and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment. Incumbent will maintain records and logs, retrieve data related to work performed using manual and/or computerized record-keeping systems and prepare standard reports. In addition to the duties of a facility controls specialists, the incumbent shall provide technical leadership to other staff members including but not limited to interpretation of engineer design methodology, directing new or retrofit control projects, developing sequence of operations, programming, and commissioning. Work with management to organize long term planning to modernize campus systems within constrained budgets. Continually improve internal metering capabilities and data capturing.
