Irrigation Specialist Chico
Under general supervision, the Irrigation Specialist maintains and repairs grounds irrigation systems including modification of existing systems and the planning, cost estimating, and installation of new systems. The Irrigation Specialist performs specialized work on irrigation systems in grounds areas for a major portion of the incumbent’s work time. Incumbents in the Groundsworker classification or other grounds classifications may maintain sprinkler heads, make minor repairs to sprinkler lines, set clocks on automatic control devices in an assigned area of the campus on an occasional basis, and occasionally assist an Irrigation Specialist in specialized irrigation system maintenance work. Research Integrity and Compliance Officer (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-EIII) Chico
The Research Integrity and Compliance Officer plays a central role in overseeing day-to-day research integrity and compliance operations and ensuring the complex responsible and ethical conduct of research across campus, in particular focusing on integrity and compliance in the following areas: human subjects, animal subjects, and bio-hazards. The Research Integrity and Compliance Officer reports to and supports the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Success on a wide variety of research integrity and compliance issues, including issues of research misconduct, institutional human subjects research, institutional animal care and use, and institutional bio-safety research. As a member of the Vice Provost's team in Faculty Affairs and Success, the Research Integrity and Compliance Officer will work closely with Deans, department chairs, Chico State Enterprises, the University Farm, Chico State faculty, Chico State's attending veterinarian, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk Management, Procurement, Division of IT, and other campus partners.
Executive Assistant to VPIT (Confidential Administrative Support II) Chico
Under the general supervision of the Vice President for Information Technology (VPIT), the incumbent serves as the Executive Assistant and advisor to the VPIT, handling issues of complex, confidential, and sensitive nature. The incumbent provides executive administrative support, logistics support, operational support, and communications support to the Office of the VPIT. The incumbent works closely with Information Technology directors, other Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, the Office of the President, and the CSU, Chancellor's Office. The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact for the VPIT with the University's internal stakeholders (faculty, staff, students) as well as external stakeholders (government agencies, universities and schools, and community organizations and leaders). The essential duties require the incumbent to interpret and apply complex operating policies and procedures, perform research, prepare reports with recommended courses of action, make in-depth analytical studies and investigations which may have broad impact, and make recommendations for changes in policy or procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for immediate problem solving, using independent, practical, and thorough judgment in solving urgent issues involving Information Technology.

Under general supervision, the Lead Custodian provides leadership in all facets of the cleaning operation for Facilities Management and Services; giving work direction and training for the custodial staff and student employee staff.
