Chemistry & Biochemistry Office Manager - Administrative Support Coordinator II East Bay
The Office Manager ensures that the department office operates efficiently and sets policies and procedures relating to office function. The position is responsible for implementing department goals and objectives and for complying with state and federal regulations, university policies, and established procedures relating to the function of the office.
Accounting Technician II East Bay
The Finance area consists of General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Student Financial & Cashier Services, Bay Card/University Club Services, Accounts Receivable, Finance Support, Budget and Procurement & Support Services. These departments report to four managers, the Director of University Budget Services, the University Controller, Student Financial Services & Cashiers Director and the Director of Procurement Services. These managers report to the Associate Vice President of Finance. The incumbent will be an Accounting Technician II within the University Accounts Payable unit. This position is under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager and is primarily in the Accounts Payable unit. However, duties may also include support within other areas within Fiscal Services. This Accounting Tech II position will oversee use of the current travel software, ensuring compliance, data integrity, providing functional support as well as training to end users. The incumbent will handle the review and analysis of the Pcard transactions monthly and work with the Pcard Administrators as needed. Duties will also include validation of vendors related to their taxpayers information and the maintenance of dormant vendors, along with maintaining AP records.
Undocumented Student Resource Center Coordinator - Student Services Professional IV East Bay
Under the general supervision of the Director of the DISC & Affinity Centers, the Undocumented Student Resource Center (USRC) Coordinator creates a safe and welcoming environment to promote academic success for our undocumented student population. The Coordinator also provides leadership, strategic planning and a collaborative environment with campus partners to provide easy access to resources which support the educational access, success, retention, and graduation of undocumented students.
Assistant Professor of Public Affairs and Administration East Bay
The Department of Public Affairs and Administration offers two degree programs: a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree, and an M.S. in Health Care Administration. The MPA degree is offered at the Hayward Campus and has more than 200 MPA students who focus on two option areas after completing foundation and core courses: either Public Management and Public Policy or Health Care Administration. The MS-HCA program has over 225 students and is offered at the Hayward Campus and fully online. The MPA and MS-HCA programs are members of the ACHE Health Education Network (HEN) and participate in the California Association of Healthcare Leadership, which is the local chartered chapter of the American Chapter of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Assistant to the Associate Deans of the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences - Administrative Support Coordinator I East Bay

The University Police Department is a California Police Department responsible for the prevention of crime and the enforcement of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations on the CSUEB campus (Hayward, Concord, Oakland). Equipment Technician - Equipment Technician II, Specialized Equipment East Bay
Fulfilling the College of Science’s instructional and research missions requires appropriate infrastructure and and a culture of safety. The establishment of this position recognizes the increasing intersection of work between Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities, ITS, and department-based Instructional Support Technicians, Equipment Technicians in supporting these missions. As such, this position will serve as the primary person responsible for safe testing, maintenance, and repair of equipment used in classes and research in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry and as a support for that work across the College of Science. This position will partner with Environmental Health & Safety in establishing and implementing policies and procedures that build a strong culture of employee and student safety in compliance with safety regulations as they pertain specifically to College of Science instructional and research activities. Additionally, this position coordinates with Facilities and ITS on equipment installation, maintenance, and construction projects.
East Bay SBDC Administrative Support Coordinator - Administrative Support Coordinator II (Temporary through December 31, 2024 with the possibility of reappointment) East Bay
The East Bay Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the College of Business and Economics provides consulting services and training to small businesses. The SBDC assists with obtaining financing, marketing effectively, and managing operations with the goal of growing these small businesses and generating economic impact and job growth for the East Bay region. This position will perform a variety of functions, related duties include providing support to East Bay SBDC Executive Director, consultants, trainers, and programs in both Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The Administrative Support Coordinator is responsible for assisting East Bay SBDC Directors with:  setting up and promoting programs, workshop and program registration, attendance and reporting, assisting clients with emails and phone calls, answering questions related to SBDC programs, services, resources, events, and deadlines, initial intake interviews and scheduling appointments with advisors. This position also coordinates SBDC student assistants, SBDC events and maintains records for the events.
Accounting Technician II East Bay
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Student Financial Services, the Accounting Technician II provides various services to assist the University's students, faculty, and staff with their financial business such as the posting tuition payments; processing of University department deposits; selling of parking permits; distribution of pay warrants; analysis of a student’s financial account. This requires a thorough knowledge of University systems and a thorough knowledge of office functions related to the operation of the Cashier’s Office. This requires effective communication skills and the ability to demonstrate teamwork to insure the success of the department goals and objectives and the success of the Cashier's Office.
MESA Program Coordinator - Administrative Analyst/Specialist - Non Exempt (Temporary through December 31, 2023, with the possibility of reappointment) East Bay
The MESA Program Coordinator works closely with the MESA Director to lead Cal State East Bay’s MESA College Prep Program and University Program with a goal to serve approximately 600 middle and high school students and 30 teachers across Alameda and Contra Costa County and approximately 100 CSU East Bay Computer Science and Computer Engineering Transfer Students. MESA is focused on students from those groups who historically have had the lowest levels of attainment to four-year and graduate level programs.

Student Internship & Career Systems Coordinator - Administrative Analyst/Specialist Non-Exempt I East Bay
The role of the Internship & Career Systems Coordinator (ICSC) within the Academic Advising and Career Education (AACE) unit is to ensure the functionality of student internship processes and web systems that facilitate internship engaged courses, activities, and partnerships. The position provides first-line user-support and maintaining communications with students, faculty, staff, and internship partners on navigating AACE’s systems. The ICSC maintains web systems and monitors student placements, projects/partners, and data configurations. The ICSC is also responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting on relevant data connected to student learning and internship impact. This staff position may take additional direction from the Internship Coordinator, Employer Relations Coordinator, and appropriate team members in AACE.
