| The Department of Psychology usually has part-time positions open to teach undergraduate courses in all areas of psychology. Minimum requirement: Ph.D. in Psychology (or related field) or enrollment in a Ph.D. program with sufficient progress towards the degree is preferred. Candidates who possess a Master’s degree and teaching experience in an appropriate field will be considered.
Teaching assigned classes in psychology. Preparing syllabi and other course materials, planning class sessions and out-of-class activities, communicating with students and helping them with class material as appropriate, and holding regular office hours. Light Automotive Equipment Operator (2 Positions)

| The Light Automotive Equipment Operator primarily performs skilled operation of light automotive vehicles and equipment in support of campus grounds and maintenance operations. The incumbent operates equipment and vehicles typical of this classification, including light-duty (two-axle) trucks, riding mowers, small wheel-type tractors with attachments, sweepers, utility vehicles, and small loaders within standard capacity limits. The position’s primary function is the safe and efficient operation of light automotive and grounds maintenance equipment, with responsibility for performing routine servicing and minor maintenance such as safety inspections, fluid checks, and basic adjustments to ensure proper working conditions. The incumbent reports equipment malfunctions and coordinates needed repairs. In support of equipment operation, the incumbent performs a range of grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, watering, and debris removal, as well as assisting with campus beautification and seasonal projects. Manual labor duties are performed in connection with equipment use, including loading and unloading materials. Work is performed in accordance with established safety practices, campus procedures, and applicable California Vehicle Code requirements. Equipment operated and duties performed are consistent with light automotive equipment as defined within the Equipment Operation Series and do not typically involve the operation of heavy construction equipment or vehicles exceeding the scope of this classification. |

| This position reports to the Director of Student Health Services and is part of the Enrollment Management & Student Affairs Division. The Associate Director performs duties under limited supervision including supervising all department administrative staff and clinic schedules; day-to-day department operations; and overseeing department budget management/ reconciliation and collaborative budgetary decisions regarding the Student Health facility.
In conjunction with the Director, the incumbent ensures a high level of customer engagement and maximum utilization of department services. The Associate Director participates in and makes recommendations on the following: recruitment, selection, training, crisis management, administrative duties, communication with families/guardians, and other related activities. The incumbent has specific responsibilities for serving as liaison to University Facilities Management, and overseeing department budget reconciliation while directly performing tasks including department Human Resources, department assessment needs and department organization and planning.
The Associate Director assists with the development of campus and external communications and other related activities and also provides indirect oversight for the department medical services staff members as needed. The Senior Investigator ensures compliance with Title IX, Title VI, the CSU Nondiscrimination Policy, the CSU Interim Nondiscrimination Policy, applicable CSU Executive Orders, the Violence Against Women Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act. The incumbent will conduct interviews, compile data, interpret and analyze the facts, and provide written notices and investigation reports in a thorough and timely manner. The incumbent will employ dispute resolution, mediation, and problem-solving techniques to resolve issues on an informal basis consistent with the applicable CSU Policy. The incumbent will provide leadership for programming and education to prevent sexual misconduct and hostile environment issues, and serve on multidisciplinary committees that serve campus constituents. The incumbent may provide testimony regarding cases to outside agencies, provide advice and guidance to campus constituents, and interact with the CSU Office of the Chancellor, General Counsel, Civil Rights Attorney, Systemwide Director, Administrators, and colleagues at campuses within the CSU System. | The Facilities Development & Operations department provides general maintenance and cleaning services across campus, supports special event set-up and take-down, assists with minor furniture-moving projects, and secures buildings and equipment from unauthorized access. The Laborer position is responsible for special event set-up and take-down; loading and unloading furniture, equipment, supplies, and materials; removing and hauling waste and recyclables from central aggregation areas and event or clean-up sites; and performing a variety of manual labor duties. Laborers perform tasks such as moving heavy furniture, equipment, and materials; cleaning assigned areas, including removing construction debris; cleaning gutters, culverts, drainage structures, roadsides, and streets; power washing; cleaning equipment; and supporting special cleaning projects. They assist crafts and construction workers with unskilled tasks, including preparing work areas, rough repairs, tearing down structures, patching pavement, and performing pick-and-shovel work. Additional duties include grounds maintenance (pruning, trimming, spraying, removing undergrowth and debris, and preparing areas with hand tools), operating and performing basic preventive maintenance on hand and powered tools and equipment, and, in some cases, driving a motor vehicle to transport and deliver materials. |
