Under the general direction of the Student Health Services Director, the Patient Support Services Lead (Registered Nurse III) is responsible for the operation and oversight of Patient Support Services. This includes but is not limited to front office duties of reception, patient intake and medical records, back office clinical support duties and clinical laboratory functions. This position also provides some skilled nursing services and performs Public Health activities for both the Hayward and Concord campus communities. This position may require occasional coverage at Cal State East Bay’s Concord campus. |
Physician - Primary Care

The Physician - Primary Care is an integral part of the Student Health & Counseling Services (SHCS). The Physician participates in the daily operational and practical needs of SHCS, primarily performs medical diagnostic and treatment activities, and participates in practitioner peer review staff educational and administrative meetings, as needed. This position will also assist SHCS with its on-going preparation for re-accreditation and HIPAA compliance as well as provide health education and participate in teaching activities. |
Academic Advising Trainee - 4 Positions (Temporary)

This Academic Advising position is a trainee position under the Student Services Professional (SSP) IA classification, an entry-level classification in the SSP series. This position will serve in a trainee capacity that is not to exceed 12 months. Upon successful completion of training and satisfactory performance under the SSP IA classification, this position may, at the discretion of the appropriate administrator and based on university needs, evolve to the next classification level – SSP IB and be expected to perform similar duties with greater independence and under more limited supervision. Permanent status cannot be earned in a trainee position. This Student Services Professional IA trainee position is a temporary, grant-funded, full-time position with the possibility of reappointment for a maximum of one year from the date of hire. |

Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Research, Sponsored Programs, and Graduate Studies the Director of Grant Administration is responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations in pre and post-award grant administration functions, ensuring the campus is following and in compliance with all Federal, State, CSU and campus policies and procedures for the conduct of research and administration of sponsored projects, as well as funder guidelines. This position oversees both pre-award and post-award staff, student assistants and part-time staff assigned to or who support post-award/ORSP functions. Unit functions include but are not limited to: proposal submissions, award transitions, award acceptances and ongoing day-to-day management, subaward and subrecipient management, monitoring grant budgets, expenditures, purchase and hiring, procurement, and fiscal reporting. |
Print Center Analyst (Temporary)

This temporary position works under direct supervision of the Director of Education Technology Services to perform clearly defined tasks of reprographics functions. Work requires the ability to use and /or quickly learn basic computerized systems and equipment typically used in reprographics operations. This role will provide data to the Director of Education Technology Services to maintain and/or improve services and pricing within the area. |
