Associate Librarian - Discovery and Systems: Provides vision and project leadership critical for the technical infrastructure that delivers information resources to students and faculty via the Library's discovery system and website. They share responsibility for running local and remote systems, including those supported and developed by the California State University (CSU) Library consortium as well as coordinating workflows associated with third-party software that is crucial to resource discovery, research support, and student success. They liaise with other library faculty and staff to provide improved systems support and implement user experience best practices to enhance discovery of and access to library collections and services. In addition, library faculty members are expected to develop an active ongoing scholarship program in their area of specialty and maintain ongoing committee and service assignments. Requires ALA-accredited Master's degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent, and minimum of one-year experience in managing library discovery systems/services (e.g., Primo/Primo VE). Some experience with library services platforms and/or integrated library systems (e.g., Alma) and project management. Job with San Francisco State University in San Francisco, CA. Starting salary is $93960/year.
