Position Summary: The assistant athletic director serves as a key member of the athletics administrative team. Along with the primary responsibilities of fundraising and recruiting, he/she will be involved in strategic planning and departmental policy making.
Position Responsibilities:  •To increase the number of quality student-athletes at Yeshiva University through recruiting at the High School and international levels
•Help develop athletic programs at YU feeder schools and in Israel to improve the pool of recruits
•Re-engage athletic alumni to help generate revenue and excitement

Alumni and Institutional Advancement Liaison
•Work closely with the Alumni Office and Office of Institutional Advancement
•Create and maintain athletic alumni-specific programming
•Establish alumni games for several female and male sports
•Engage local alumni
•Engage athletic alumni when teams travel to remote areas
•Identify and cultivate potential donors

Recruiting Coordinator
•Work with Admissions Office
•Maintain list of recruits and ensure coaches and admissions officers are in contact with them
•Follow progress of potential recruits through the admissions process to make sure they turn in all requirements for admission
•Manage athletics recruiting budget and help coaches plan recruiting trips
•Train coaches on the intricacies and recruiting tactics for YU
•Travel to areas identified with Admissions to recruit for all teams
•Work with Israel Office
•Build relationships with Yeshiva High School Athletic Directors
•Make and maintain lists on HS sports, AD's, coaches, etc.
Experience & Education Background: •Bachelor's degree
•Prior experience with recruiting and fundraising preferred, but not required
Salary Range: $60,000- $60,000
