Position Summary:
|
Postdoctoral researcher to work under faculty supervision to advance the long-term research agenda focusing on:
(1) Molecular mechanism of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and frontotemporal dementia.
(2) Drug target identification for ALS-FTD.

Position Responsibilities:
|
Drug target identification for ALS-FTD. The employee will work under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Nam Chul Kim in his research laboratory to elucidate the effect of Abeta42 on mitochondrial liquid-liquid phase separation using live-imaging techniques.
Research activities will focus on:
(1) Molecular mechanism of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and frontotemporal dementia.
(2)Drug target identification for ALS-FTD.
