Position Summary:

The Katz School of Science and Health at Yeshiva University welcomes applications for part-time positions in its admissions department. This position serves as a front-line point of contact for prospective students and applicants throughout the admissions process, responding to inquiries by phone, email, text, and chat. The role helps students navigate their research and decision-making as they consider a university and program to pursue their academic and professional goals, while representing the Katz School as a welcoming and knowledgeable first point of contact. The position is based at the Katz School’s Beren Campus in Midtown Manhattan, with morning and afternoon shifts available.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Respond to prospective student and applicant inquiries by phone, email, text, and chat.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and informative responses about programs, admissions processes, and next steps.
  • Triage questions and issues, connecting students with the appropriate admissions or academic team member when needed.
  • Schedule appointments with admissions advisors based on students’ questions, needs, and availability.
  • Conduct transcript reviews and evaluate prerequisite coursework as needed.
  • Document interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
  • Follow up with prospective students and applicants as appropriate.
  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and service-oriented experience at every stage of the admissions journey.

Experience & Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Customer service, call center, admissions, enrollment, or related experience required.
  • Higher education experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, patient, and informative approach to working with prospective students and applicants.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple inquiries and follow-up tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret academic records and prerequisite requirements.
  • Comfortable working across phone, email, text, chat, and CRM systems.

Salary Range:

$25.00-30.00 per hour
