Department Overview:

The rheumatology division is part of the Department of Medicine at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. It is made up of 17 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers serving rheumatology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our administrative team is located at the Centennial Building on the West Campus.

Schedule:

Available to work 8-10 hours per week. Final schedule to be discussed upon hire. Option to continue through school year.

Qualifications:

Must be a student at UW-Madison.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to work efficiently and independently on assigned tasks and prioritize work based on need and time constraints.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
Eager to learn; problem-solver.
Basic skills with Microsoft Office programs.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The Rheum Office Assistant will help the division with formatting faculty CVs; travel research; survey response tracking and distribution; meeting preparation, minutes and logistics; mail sorting; electronic file organizing.
