The Education Division supervises 300+ learners across the spectrum of surgical education. We’re proud to offer comprehensive and innovative surgical education programs in all facets of surgical training. We provide robust clinical training for our 3rd and 4th year medical students. Our nationally recognized and competitive GME programs consist of 4 residencies and 10 fellowship training programs, providing outstanding surgical training for residents and fellows interested in the full range of surgical careers. |

Schedule:

The Division will work with the student worker to adjust their work schedule to their class schedule. It is preferential that work takes place between the hours of 8am and 5pm Mon-Fri. Some flexibility and remote work will be permitted. |

· Current UW student · Interest in education and/or medicine preferred |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Demonstrated professionalism and excellent oral and written communication skills · Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Qualtrics, and ability to learn new computer software/systems · Self-directed and able to work independently · Ability to follow through on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment · A commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive work and learning environment · Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas · Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
Duties will include providing support to the Department of Surgery Education Division through data entry, database and spreadsheet maintenance, data compilation, file organization and scanning, evaluation set-up, and other office tasks as needed.
|
Physical Demands:
|
Limited physical demands are required of this position. Occasionally will assist to set up catering/events as needed.
