The Center for Quantitative Cell Imaging is housed in the R.M. Bock Labs building. The Nance lab utilizes the nematode C. elegans to investigate the formation and morphogenesis of organs during development. |

Qualifications:
|
UW–Madison undergraduate
Major in a STEM field
Completion of at least one semester of college-level chemistry |

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
Basic knowledge of chemistry concepts, including pH, molarity, and unit conversions
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, responsible, and dependable work ethic
Ability to work independently while demonstrating good judgment in asking questions when clarification is needed

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
Preparing solutions
Sterilizing items in autoclave
Preparing plates for worm growth
Organizing frozen worm strains
|

Physical Demands:
|
Light lifting
Standing at bench while preparing worm plates
