Schedule:

The position will pay $15.00 per hour, and provide a consistent, but flexible schedule of 10-20 hours a week in-person. The desired start date of this position is May 2025; however, it can be flexible depending on the candidate. The position has a one-year appointment with the opportunity to extend (depending on performance) through AY26-27. This is an on-campus, in-person position. Part-time employment is required, full-time preferred. |

Preferred skills: These skills are not required for the position; however, we encourage applicants to highlight any relevant experience in their application. • Experience assisting with or managing events • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Excel, and/or email marketing software |

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
Responsibilities: The student will assist and report to the La Follette School’s Outreach Engagement Manager to organize, prepare for, and staff La Follette events, ranging from 20-person seminars to 1,000-person public events.
Students may also assist with: • event marketing materials and promotion • Event and survey analytics • Email marketing • Maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database • Community and legislative outreach • Provide valuable student perspective • Track alumni, student, and faculty information • Write stories for web, social and e-newsletters • Assist in client recruitment for courses
