The Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies (CommNS) is a hub for collaboration and exchange among faculty, students, and community partners. The CommNS fosters work and learning partnerships that advance the well-being of communities, as well as the civic and nonprofit sectors. Co-Create is a CommNS team dedicated to informing community-led social change through collaborative research, evaluation, and facilitation. All our projects are grounded in co-creation—we work hand in hand with those closest to an issue to find new paths forward. |

Qualifications:
|
Strong skills in writing, research, communication, and organization. Experience working with qualitative data collection and analysis. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preference given to School of Human Ecology students. |

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
The Project Assistant will primarily support evaluation activities for the Rooted in Learning project, a collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension Harvest New York. Under the supervision and support of Dr. Amy Washbush, the PA will engage in data collection activities (e.g., survey administration, conducting interviews and focus groups) and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, prepare summary briefs and other dissemination materials, and participate in meetings with project partners and other stakeholders. Additionally, the PA will support other Co-Create activities as needed, such as contributing to data collection for other projects, editing reports of colleagues, and helping prepare communication materials related to Co-Create.
