The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Technician A. The Technician will receive training from the Clinical Research Core and work directly with Principal Investigators and other entities as needed for the research protocols. Previous experience working in clinical trials is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with participant recruitment and screening procedures including participant education about the study, administering questionnaires, and collecting data in accordance with study protocols.
- Schedule patient visits and research meetings
- Ensure that data and study samples are collected, transported, and stored in accordance with study protocols.
- Interact with study participants using English and Spanish as applicable.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe PDF
- Ability to keep records in an orderly fashion
- Support other job functions as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of college or a completed A.A. program with an emphasis in chemistry, biology or physics or a completed animal husbandry program.
- One year of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and/or experience.
- Intermediate to advanced level MS Office and Adobe skills.
