Under the general direction of the Director of Faculty Affairs, the Manager of Academic Appointments will serve as a liaison in academic personnel transactions, training, and faculty and academic personnel searches. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of Columbia policies and regulations set forth by the Provost Office, ISSO, EOAA, and other university divisions within the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Business Analytics Analyst CUIMC IT Medical Center
The Business Analytics Analyst, operating under the guidance of the Associate Director of Business Analytics, actively investigates analytic requests and issues. They identify, define, document, create, and maintain analytic solutions, such as reports, dashboards, and data extracts from various data sources within the organization, including revenue, accounting, clinical information, practice management EHR systems, human resources, and more. In this role, the Business Analytics Analyst collaborates with operational, academic, and clinical staff, including senior leadership, to review analytic requests, provide updates on progress, set expectations, plan, and implement products and services to meet the needs of users, enterprise reporting, and data analysis. To excel in this position, the analyst should have a good grasp of institutional business intelligence tools, key content, and related data models. Additionally, strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are required.
Program Manager - Academic and Faculty Affairs School of Social Work Morningside
The Office of Academic Affairs at the Columbia School of Social Work oversees and manages the curriculum, development of new courses, faculty recruitment and development, grievances related to classroom or faculty issues, exceptions to academic policy, continuing education, and much more. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Academic Affairs for the Columbia School of Social Work (CSSW), the Program Manager for Academic and Faculty Affairs is responsible for various key administrative and operational functions in academic and faculty affairs. The incumbent will ensure adequate curriculum and committee support levels, manage the school committee calendar and CCSW faculty handbook, and oversee the planning and delivery of all department events.
