| The Peer Education Program Assistant holds a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) appointment within the HCC’s Department of Health Promotion. In collaboration with their supervisor, the Program Assistant supervises and coordinates the Thrive Peer Education program and is responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising undergraduate peer educators. The program assistant is also responsible for assisting with various health promotion activities, including outreach and campus-wide events.
This position requires strong leadership, program development skills, and communication skills as well as the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. The program assistant will collaborate with other members of the Health Promotion team and may also collaborate with members of other HCC and campus departments. This position reports to the Coordinator of Health Promotion for Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Peer Education. |

This person may assist with designing a portfolio of studies that measures how incorporating justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion considerations in companion animal welfare programs can promote positive One Health outcomes. The Research Associate I engages as a collaborative partner with the Principal Investigator, Co-Investigators, Research Fellows, Research Assistants, external agencies, and community stakeholders to implement research activities.
This is a full-time position that is currently funded through June 2026. This position includes travel, as needed, to implement research and disseminate findings. This position could be structured as a remote position, provided the Research Associate I is readily available for meetings by Zoom during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM Mountain Time). Our remote team members may be asked to travel to be in-person for special events (e.g., conferences, trainings, annual meetings, public events). |
