The University of Denver is seeking an experienced, driven, and passionate fundraiser to join our Advancement team as the Senior Director of Development, Gift Planning. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Gift Planning, the Senior Director of Development is a key fundraising professional for the University of Denver. They will manage a portfolio of gift planning donors and prospects while also partnering with a campus-wide network of academic leaders, fundraising professionals, and other key partners to advance the University’s top priorities, as expressed in The Denver Difference Campaign. The Senior Director of Development will develop and mature their assigned portfolio of planned gift donors. This will include managing top prospects in pursuit of individual fundraising goals set annually in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development. The Senior Director will serve as a close partner and key resource for other advancement professionals to solicit and close planned gifts. The campus-wide Advancement team is highly collaborative in its work and the Director will be expected to build and foster extensive value-added relationships with their campus partners.

The Peer Education Program Assistant holds a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) appointment within the HCC’s Department of Health Promotion. In collaboration with their supervisor, the Program Assistant supervises and coordinates the Thrive Peer Education program and is responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising undergraduate peer educators. The program assistant is also responsible for assisting with various health promotion activities, including outreach and campus-wide events. This position requires strong leadership, program development skills, and communication skills as well as the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. The program assistant will collaborate with other members of the Health Promotion team and may also collaborate with members of other HCC and campus departments. This position reports to the Coordinator of Health Promotion for Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Peer Education.

This position could be structured as a remote position, provided the Research Associate I is readily available for meetings by Zoom during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM Mountain Time). Our remote team members may be asked to travel to be in-person for special events (e.g., conferences, trainings, annual meetings, public events).
