About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer, accountable for providing specialised technical support within the Infrastructure and Operations teams specifically for the Network team. The Network Engineer delivers support for day-to-day operation, optimization, and strategic development of the enterprise network, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across the organisation.
Key Accountabilities:
Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across data centres, offices, and schools, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-integrated environments.
Design, configure, and troubleshoot secure SD-WAN solutions, including dynamic path selection, multi-site connectivity, tunnel overlays, application-aware routing, and centralized policy control.
Manage enterprise wireless networks, including wireless LAN controllers, SSIDs, onboarding policies, and analysis of wireless surveys and heatmaps.
Monitor and optimise network performance and availability using assurance and visibility platforms; administer network access control, endpoint compliance, and segmentation policies.
Administer security platforms such as Zscaler, including secure web filtering, zero trust access, VPN connectivity, firewall rule enforcement, and remote access solutions.
Lead or support network-related projects and escalations, maintain network documentation, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders on infrastructure, security, and compliance initiatives.

Typical experience and qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise network engineering roles.
Deep technical knowledge of routing, switching and firewall platforms in complex environments.
Hands on experience implementing and supporting SD-WAN, network access control and network visibility platforms.
Strong trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills using CLI, packet-captures, and network monitoring tools.
Experience in supporting high-availability and segmented networks in multi-site or hybrid cloud environments.
Proven ability to maintain secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure.
Familiar with CAB processes.
Experience in writing technical documentation, including Design, As-built, SOPs, CR's.
