The Sundowner Hotel in Caboolture is entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of our brand-new Beer Garden and a focus on growing food sales through creativity, consistency, and leadership. We're on the lookout for an experienced Head Chef ready to take the reins and drive success with a strong team behind them.

We’re looking for a Head Chef who:

  • Has 2+ years' experience in a similar role (pub or high-volume venues a bonus)
  • Leads by example with attention to detail and a training-first approach
  • Can motivate and develop their team, bringing structure and consistency
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for quality pub classics with room for creativity
  • Is confident managing COGs, rosters, compliance systems and processes
  • Understands how to align kitchen operations with venue and company targets
