The Boatshed is seeking a talented and driven Assistant Manager to help lead our team. We pride ourselves on offering a first-class dining experience, with full table service, outstanding food, and warm, genuine hospitality.

You’ll manage the day-to-day operations with a consistent, hands-on approach, communicate positively, and recognise the talents of your team. With a strong background in food and beverage, you’ll lead, motivate, and train staff while showcasing your advanced skills in front-of-house and bar operations.

We are offering:

Essential requirements:

  • Previous Restaurant management leadership experience
  • Strong experience in elevated dining
  • Excellent knowledge of European & Australian wines
  • Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front 
  • Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
  • Ensuring policies, procedures, and standards are current, effective, and clearly communicated 
  • Current RSA & RSG
  • RMLV & Approved Manager's license desirable but not necessary
