Ferry Road Tavern is on the hunt for a dynamic Venue Manager to lead our team. With a sharp eye for running a great sports bar — and a solid understanding of a good punt, you’ll take the reins of one of the Gold Coast’s favourite local watering holes “The Marble Bar”.

Known as the place to be on a Saturday, whether it’s for the footy, UFC, or our legendary punters clubs, Ferry Road Tavern is all about racing, punting, sporting, and gaming!

As Venue Manager, you'll orchestrate the day-to-day operations of our great local venue. We're in search of an individual with a proven track record in managing fast-paced wagering & gaming venues, adept at team leadership, and skilled in cultivating and nurturing strong management teams.

We are offering: 

  • Generous Salary $90,000 - $100,000 + Super
  • KPI Bonus - $44,000 P/A

Essential requirements:

  • 3+ years of Venue Management experience
  • A hands-on, visible leader who thrives on the floor – especially during peak service, weekends, and sporting events
  • Strong understanding of P&Ls and ability to deep-dive into venue performance
  • Proven experience working in a Gaming & Wagering-focused venue
  • Experience writing efficient rosters, managing labour costs, and investigating stock variances
  • Familiarity with venue systems and reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Proven success executing venue promotions and adapting to local market trends
  • Strong communication and collaboration with Central Support and key stakeholders
