Part-time Student Research Assistants (3 posts) in the Department of Geography (Ref.: 532214)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with bus estimated time arrival (ETA) data collection, storage, curation, and cleaning
• Assist with model training by labelling the data needed for training
• Estimated 10 -18 hours of work per week

Requirements

• Current Year 2-4 undergraduate students in transport and computer science related disciplines
• Have a basic understanding in model training
• Apply basic software and programming languages (e.g. Python) in organizing and cleaning datasets

What We Offer

The appointment will be expected to commence on 1 July 2025 for three months. The salary will be at standard rate set by the Department of Geography.
