Role Purpose

This fantastic opportunity is for a Senior Associate to join our Professional Risks (Litigation) team in our Sydney office. Ideally, you will be a Senior Lawyer with a minimum 4 years PQE.

This role will see you working on a wide variety of insurance law and litigation matters with a focus on professional indemnity and product liability insurance. You will work across different industry sectors, with a particular focus on the sports, leisure and construction industries sectors. This role will provide the successful candidate with an exciting and unique opportunity to work with a highly experienced Principal and Special Counsel whilst being provided with excellent mentoring to develop your career.

About you

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• Minimum 4 years PQE in a Litigation based role in private practice or in-house, and with proven experience in various areas of professional indemnity and product liability insurance
• Genuine interest in the sports, leisure and construction industries sectors
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work well under pressure
• Positive, “can do” attitude and willingness to be a key member of a busy, tight knit team
• A sharp eye for detail and strong writing skills
• A great work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career.
