About the role:

The Senior Officer, Professional Placement supports the effective delivery of clinical and professional placements across the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. The role coordinates placement documentation, monitors student compliance, and liaises with students, health organisations, and university staff to ensure smooth and timely placement coordination. It plays a key part in maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and supporting student success in professional settings.

As a Senior Officer, Professional Placement you will:

  • Implement processes and procedures to efficiently coordinate the administration of clinical and practicum placements utilising and maintaining placement management systems.
  • Proactively drive improvement by identifying barriers, seeking feedback, and enhancing processes and outcomes.
  • Build respectful, inclusive relationships with stakeholders across and beyond the University.
  • Deliver exceptional service by understanding stakeholder needs, following through, and improving experiences.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • A degree with relevant experience, or extensive specialist knowledge in administrative or technical fields.
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience will be considered.
  • Understanding of student placement programs and university administrative processes.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of the exercise and nutrition sciences sector is desirable.
