As a Lead Analyst, Data Governance, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the effective management of data across the organisation
- Monitor compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements, identifying and addressing any gaps or issues
- Develop data management practices, including data classification, metadata management, and data lifecycle management
- Analyse data governance metrics and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in data management practices
- Facilitate training and awareness programs to promote understanding and adherence to data governance policies among staff
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience in data governance, data management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Proven ability to develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures in a complex organisation
